Our Mountain Series combines earth, sand and soil from some of our favorite places with gorgeous colors of fused glass. The glass and sand/soil are layered in the kiln and fused to a temperature of 1500 degrees. The glass is then cut and refired to make the inlay in this wooden bottle opener. It will be a memento of a special place for years to come.
The sand and soil in the glass in this bottle opener is from Pinnacle Park in Sylva in western North Carolina.
