Charleston Battery Oval Necklace #050
A petite necklace with a lot of style! Each piece is like a small, wearable piece of art, and a great memento of a special place. Making this necklace involves layering the glass with sand and fusing it to a temperature of 1500 degrees. It is then given it's unique oval shape on the grinder before one more firing in the kiln. The sand in this piece is from The Battery in downtown Charleston, South Carolina.
The 16 inch chain has a silver finish. Please specify if you would like the chain cut shorter or made longer in your order notes. See photo above to get an idea of the length that the necklace hangs. Each item is handmade and may vary slightly.
