The Islanders - Dewees Island Round Necklace
This jewelry series is inspired by The Islanders book series, by Mary Alice Monroe with Angela May and illustrated by Jennifer Bricking. The glass in this piece is fused with sand from Dewees Island in South Carolina, which is the setting for The Islanders book series. The Islanders is a beautiful story of friendship, loss, and the healing power of nature. This middle grade book series is riveting-our kids couldn’t put it down! When I had the chance to work with the authors of the book on a special jewelry line I jumped at the oppurtunity.
So keep a bit of The Islanders and Dewees Island with you with this petite glass necklace. The glass is fused with sand from Dewees Island. Choose from gold or silver chains. The chains are nickel-free, and measure 18 inches. The length can be adjusted if you like and you can note the desired length in your order notes. Each item is handmade and may vary slightly.
