Sometimes the sand from our pieces comes from a bit farther awaythan South Carolina. The glass in the inlay is fused with sand from the black sand beaches of Reynisfjara in Iceland. We layer glass with sand and kiln-fire it to a temperature of 1500 degrees to make a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind piece.
We donate a portion of the profits from our Beach Sand Jewelry to the Surfrider Foundation to protect our beaches and oceans.
