Elucook.com, encompassing work in glass tile, home decor and other glass work, was started by Emily L.U. Cook in 2004. Emily originally hails from Frederick, Maryland and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Delaware. Her BFA concentrated in printmaking where her work often utilized repetition of shapes in grid-like patterns, so the transition into creating designs for tile was a natural one. Since then, her business has grown into her current line of work, focusing on a complete line of glass tiles and other items for home decor. She loves the intensity of color and clean lines that glass offers and enjoys coming up with new and inventive ways to use it.
